Integrated Planning-The Holy Grail North Carolina State University is growing in enrollment, acreage, and occupied square footage. The university embarked upon a new round of planning for this growth and discovered that existing plans lacked the guiding principles necessary to establish priorities in an era of limited resource growth. In this session, the goals, methodology, and outcomes of an integrated planning effort will be examined. The focus will be on the processes used to weave the academic and enrollment plans, physical master plan, and space allocation plan together, while achieving a high degree of buy-in by the campus community. |
