New Computational Research Building Embraces Sustainable Campus Design Philosophy

This presentation will outline the planning and design of Old Dominion University¹s new Computational Sciences and Engineering Building, a project that is being designed with sustainability as one of its primary goals. This is the first higher education facility in the Commonwealth of Virginia to be LEED registered. The audience will learn about sustainable design and the process of going through the LEED Green Building Rating System, from goal setting, to project registration, to the final accomplishment of building certification. |
