Changing Methods for Building Project Delivery: Risks, Rewards, and Responsibilities
Presenter(s): Lawrence J. Gleason, Cost Planning & Management International Inc
Many states are examining alternatives to traditional design-bid-build and limiting or expanding options available to universities. Private colleges and universities may question the appropriateness of one delivery method over another for a particular project. Add differing ideas about defining terms and the roles of various team members and you create confusion. This session will examine definitions, limitations, risks, rewards and roles for the range of approaches. Through scenarios and anecdotes you will be provided the opportunity to understand their application. |
![]() This knowledge resource from SCUP is a concurrent session presented at the Society's thirty-seventh annual, international conference and Expo, SCUP37, in San Diego, CA (USA), in July of 2002. Audiocassettes of this and other SCUP37 sessions are available for purchase here. |
| Due to our concern for the privacy of members of the face-to-face audiences at SCUP37, our digital archives of SCUP37 presentations end at the beginning of the question and answer portion of each session. Whenever we can, we not only provide streaming audio but the slide show or visual presentation used by the presenters, as well. |
